16 December 2008, Demonstration on JSTOR, an online archive of scholarly literature, by Ms. Ira Unamboowe, the Director of the American Institute for Sri Lankan Studies.
Seventeen participants from such institute as the Institute of Fundamental Studies (Librarian), Department of Agriculture (two members of Library staff), Department of Export Agriculture (Research Officer), Hillwood College (Teachers), Trinity College (Teachers), American Corner (Librarian), Veterinary Research Institute (Two members of the Library staff), Environmental Protection and Scientific Exploration Organization (Three officers), National Institute of Cooperative Development (Librarian) and Police Department (DIG’s office-IT Division) attended the demonstration.
