Victim and Witness Protection in Sri Lanka

The International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES), in partnership with the South Asian Centre for Legal Studies (SACLS) is pleased to invite you to a panel discussion on ‘Victim and Witness Protection in Sri Lanka’. The discussion will take place on Wednesday, 2nd September 2015 at 4.30 p.m. at the ICES Auditorium, 2 Kynsey Terrace, Colombo 8.
Aruni Jayakody will lead the discussion with a presentation drawing from SACLS‘s latest paper “An Analysis of The Victim and Witness Protection Law: The Need for Further Reform”. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion including Ruki Fernando (Human Rights Activist) and Gehan Gunatilleke (Lawyer).
